Fish Tagging Program Coming

We are working closely with Mote Marine Lab to take over the tagging program which they no longer have funding for. We want to produce a "tag bag" with all the equipment you would need to tag fish while taking trips offshore. We will be setting up a database and working closely with the scientific community on this to try and ensure that the information they have to work with is the best possible.

Aside from the obvious benefit to the fisheries science, we have discovered there is another benefit. It seems there is a tax benefit to be gained from taking part in this program on behalf of our non-profit organization. If you purchase one of the "tag-bags" and use the equipment to tag fish and contribute to the data base, there is a tax write off available.
