Our Commitment To Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. To better protect your privacy we (the Gulf Partnership for Marine Fisheries, Inc hereafter referred to as GPMF) provide this notice explaining our online information practices and the choices you can make about the way your information is collected and used. To make this notice easy to find, we make it available on our homepage and at every point where personally identifiable information is requested.

The Information We Collect: This notice applies to all information collected on the GPMF website. On some pages, you can sign up for donation programs or for future electronic mailings. In the near future you will be able to donate directly to GPMF via way of this website (using secured third party connections). The types of personal information collected on these pages are:

• Physical address
• Commercial Boat information
• Fish House information

The Way We Use Information: We use the information you provide about yourself only to conduct the specific business you initiated the contact to conduct. We do not share this information with outside parties except to the extent necessary to complete the business or transaction or except in the rare case of legal intervention in the form of a summons or subpena.

We use return email addresses to answer the email we receive. Such addresses are not used for any other purpose except as below and are not shared with outside parties.

We will use email addresses provided to us to contact people who expressly consent to being contacted by us via those email addresses in the future. We will only use them for the express purpose to which you consented. If you do choose to opt in or allow us to send you further information or mailings, you can opt out at any time by simply letting us know you don't want any more contact from us. At that time we will delete all records of you and your contact information from our database. If you opt out from the start for any further contact, we will not contact you again for any other purpose other than to complete the business you initiated the contact to conduct and when that business is finalized we will not contact you again.

In the event of online donations or contributions, all financial information will be taken by a secure third party (PayPal) and your credit card, banking, or other personal financial information is never on our servers and is not retained by us for any reason. If you do conduct any transaction with paypal on our behalf, neither us nor paypal will ever attempt to make further contact with you except as you may indicate approval for.

Finally, we never use or share the personally identifiable information provided to us online in ways unrelated to the ones described above without providing you an opportunity to opt-out or otherwise prohibit such unrelated uses.
